Located along a heavily populated commercial urban corridor at the intersection of Walker Avenue and Old Court Road in Pikesville, this two-story brick and glass curtainwall structure serves as the home office for a private real estate development firm actively developing projects in downtown Baltimore and Baltimore County’s emerging Middle Branch Waterfront development district. The pie shaped lot and mixed character of the urban context presented challenges. Flexible, open office areas are located on both levels and a large conference area is positioned near the front door. More private office areas are recessed into the brick masonry portion of the building while the more public functions are located on the curtainwall side.
